The Apple iPad mini 2 has a global score of 77.2, which is a lot better than the Apple iPad 2's 62.1 score. Both of these devices come with iOS operating system, but Apple iPad mini 2 has newer 8.x version and Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x, so it offers a couple additional features and a performance increase. The Apple iPad mini 2 design is extremely newer, somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than the Apple iPad 2.
The Apple iPad mini 2 counts with a much sharper screen than iPad 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution and way more pixels per display inch.
