Comparison review
The Apple iPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is slightly better than iPad mini 2's 77.2 general score. Apple iPad Air is a much heavier tablet than iPad mini 2, but both of them are 0.3inches thick. Both of these tablets come with the same iOS 8.x OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with all the same operating system features.
The iPad mini 2 has a bit sharper screen than iPad Air, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, the iPad mini 2 also counts with a little better pixels amount in each inch of screen. The Apple iPad Air features as much storage to install applications and games as the iPad mini 2, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
Apple iPad Air has a bit faster processor than Apple iPad mini 2. Both have a 600 MHz graphics co-processor, a Dual-Core processing unit, a 64-bits processing unit and 1 GB of RAM. Apple iPad Air has a way better battery duration than iPad mini 2, because it has a 36% larger battery capacity. The iPad mini 2 and the iPad Air feature very similar cameras, they have the same diafragm aperture, a 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Apple iPad Air is also a bargain compared to others.
