Apple iPad mini 2 has an overall score of 77.2, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab RT's general score of 61. Apple iPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT operating system. The Apple iPad mini 2 construction is newer, way lighter and a little bit thinner than Asus VivoTab RT.
Apple iPad mini 2 has a lot better looking display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel number per display inch and a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution. IPad mini 2 counts with a superior storage to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.
The Apple iPad mini 2 counts with a better performing processing unit than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has lesser cpu cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. IPad mini 2 counts with a little bit better camera than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution.
The iPad mini 2 features a really longer battery life than Asus VivoTab RT.
The iPad mini 2 is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
