Apple iPad mini 2 is a incredibly lighter portable tablet than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, but both are equally thin. The Apple iPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a bit superior processor than iPad mini 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU and a 32-bit processing unit against 64-bits, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. IPad mini 2 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel amount in each display inch and a slightly higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a slightly better memory to store more apps and games than iPad mini 2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with just a bit better battery performance than Apple iPad mini 2, because it has 7500mAh of battery capacity.
