The iPad mini 2 has a general score of 75, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's 74.3 overall score. Although iPad mini 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 were only released 8 months apart, iPad mini 2's design is extremely lighter but thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The iPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
