IPad mini (2019) has a score of 85.9, which is a lot better than the Apple iPad 2's 62.1 overall score. IPad mini (2019)'s construction is much newer, notably thinner and incredibly lighter than Apple iPad 2. IPad mini (2019) counts with iPadOS 13.x OS, and Apple iPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS. Apple iPad mini (2019) has a much sharper screen than iPad 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater screen density and a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Apple iPad mini (2019) has much more memory for games and applications than iPad 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage. Apple iPad mini (2019) counts with a much more powerful processing unit than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory, a greater number of cores (and faster) and a 64-bits CPU.
The Apple iPad 2 features a way better battery duration than iPad mini (2019), because it has 6944mAh of battery capacity. IPad mini (2019) takes much clearer photographs and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same aperture, the iPad mini (2019) also has a much better video definition and a way better resolution camera.
IPad mini (2019) costs more money than iPad 2, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
