The iPad mini 3 is much better than Google Nexus 10, with a 77.5 score against 68.1. IPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1 operating system. IPad mini 3 is a newer tablet, and it is also incredibly lighter and somewhat thinner than Google Nexus 10. The Apple iPad mini 3 features a bit better looking screen than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
IPad mini 3 has a quite superior processing power than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 2 processing cores, the iPad mini 3 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. Apple iPad mini 3 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Google Nexus 10. Both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a camera with a 5 megapixels resolution and the same 1920x1080 video resolution.
IPad mini 3 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 10, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Google Nexus 10 has a way better battery lifetime than iPad mini 3, because it has 9000mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPad mini 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Nexus 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 10. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Google Nexus 10, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
