Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is a bit better than iPad mini 3, with a score of 79.3 against 77.5. Even though the Google Pixel Slate is a lot heavier than the iPad mini 3, it's a little bit thinner and a lot newer. The Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS OS, while iPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS.
Apple iPad mini 3 has a slightly better looking screen than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The iPad mini 3 has a little better performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 15 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 2 processing cores, the iPad mini 3 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a GPU.
The Google Pixel Slate features a bit better camera than iPad mini 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Google Pixel Slate also has a way more mega-pixels camera and a lot bigger camera aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than iPad mini 3, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. IPad mini 3 counts with a much longer battery performance than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than iPad mini 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPad mini 3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get iPad mini 3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
