The iPad mini 3 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), getting a overall score of 77.5 against 61.4. The iPad mini 3 design is extremely newer, way thinner and much lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). IPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 OS.
The iPad mini 3 has a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a way better screen pixel density and a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution. IPad mini 3 features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage capacity.
IPad mini 3 has a much better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM amount and 2 CPU cores, the iPad mini 3 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features just a bit longer battery performance than iPad mini 3, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 6350mAh.
The Apple iPad mini 3 takes a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition and a camera with much more MP.
The iPad mini 3 costs a little more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
