Apple iPad mini 4 is much better than the iPad mini, having a 75.6 score against 68.1. Apple iPad mini 4's design is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than iPad mini. Both devices we are comparing here have iOS OS, but the Apple iPad mini 4 has 9.x version while iPad mini has iOS 8.x version, offering a lot of extra features and improved performance.
IPad mini 4 counts with just a little better hardware performance than iPad mini, because although it has less processing cores and doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Apple iPad mini 4 features a more vivid display than Apple iPad mini, and although they both have a same size screen, the Apple iPad mini 4 also has a way greater display pixels density and a lot better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.
