Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Apple iPad mini 4's global score of 75.6. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, while Apple iPad mini 4 comes with iOS 9.x operating system. Google Pixel Slate's design is newer, but thicker and incredibly heavier than Apple iPad mini 4.
The Google Pixel Slate features a little bit better processing power than iPad mini 4, because it has more 1.5 GHz processing cores and more RAM. IPad mini 4 counts with a bit sharper display than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a way smaller screen and a way lower 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Google Pixel Slate has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad mini 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Google Pixel Slate's camera is very similar to iPad mini 4's camera, and although the Google Pixel Slate has a way larger aperture to capture better low-light photos, they both have a back facing camera with an 8 megapixels resolution, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates.
The Apple iPad mini 4 has a very superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the iPad mini 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPad mini 4. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the iPad mini 4, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
