The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 68.5, which is slightly better than iPad mini's overall score of 68.1. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a heavier and just a little bit thicker tablet device than the iPad mini. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 comes with Android 4.2.2 OS, and iPad mini comes with iOS 8.x OS.
