Comparison review
The iPad 4 is just a bit better than the iPad mini, having a 70.8 score against 68.1. Both tablets we are comparing here use iOS OS, but the iPad 4 has older 7.x version while iPad mini has iOS 8.x. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing here, the iPad 4 is a incredibly heavier and much thicker tablet than the iPad mini.
IPad 4 counts with a better display than iPad mini, because it has a way better pixels density, a bigger display and a much higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. Apple iPad 4 features a bit superior CPU than iPad mini, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor and a 400 MHz graphics processor, the Apple iPad 4 also has 512 MB more RAM.
The Apple iPad 4 features a much bigger memory for games and applications than iPad mini, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Apple iPad mini counts with a much better battery lifetime than iPad 4. IPad 4 features a camera that's very similar to the iPad mini one, they have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a 5 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than iPad mini, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad mini. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the iPad mini, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
