Apple iPad Air 2 has a global score of 79.3, which is better than the Apple iPad mini's global score of 68.1. These devices have the same iOS 8.x OS (Operating System). The Apple iPad Air 2 design is way heavier but somewhat thinner than Apple iPad mini. Apple iPad Air 2 has a better performing processing unit than iPad mini, because although it has lesser cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Apple iPad Air 2 features a much better looking display than Apple iPad mini, because it has a way higher 2048 x 1536 resolution, a much better display pixels density and a bigger screen. The iPad Air 2 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Apple iPad mini, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
IPad Air 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than iPad mini, because it has 7340mAh of battery capacity instead of 4440mAh. The iPad Air 2 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPad mini, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a same size aperture, the iPad Air 2 also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
