Comparison review
IPad mini is just a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, having a general score of 68.1 against 65. The iPad mini has iOS 8.x operating system, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 works with Windows 8 operating system. The iPad mini construction is thinner and extremely lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. IPad mini and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 both have quite similar displays, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 768 x 1366px and a bigger display.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and iPad mini both count with quite similar memory capacity for applications and games, both have equal internal storage capacity. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a little faster CPU than Apple iPad mini, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also counts with more RAM memory.
The iPad mini has a very superior camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. They have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rate and a 5 mega pixels back facing camera. The iPad mini features a much longer battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although iPad mini is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPad mini, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up some specs and features.
