Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) has an overall score of 84, which is a bit better than Apple iPad Air's score of 77.9. Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) counts with iPadOS 13.x operating system, and Apple iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x operating system. Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) is a noticeably newer tablet device, and it is also incredibly thinner and just a little lighter than Apple iPad Air.
IPad Air features a bit sharper display than iPad Pro 11-inch (2020), although it has a quite smaller display, a little worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a little bit lower display density. The iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) has a bit better processor than Apple iPad Air, because although it has a 32-bits processing unit against 64-bits and doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
Apple iPad Air features as much memory for applications and games as iPad Pro 11-inch (2020), they have equal internal storage capacity. Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) captures greater videos and photos than iPad Air, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels, a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a lot larger camera aperture.
The iPad Air features improved battery performance than Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020), because it has 8820mAh of battery capacity instead of 7538mAh.
Although iPad Pro 11-inch (2020) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPad Air. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPad Pro 11-inch (2020), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the iPad Air, letting go a couple features and specifications.
