IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021) has a general score of 91.1, which is much better than iPad Air's 77.9 overall score. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021) design is newer and thinner than the iPad Air's, although it's much heavier. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021) counts with iPadOS 14.x OS, while iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS.
IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021) features a little bit better performance than iPad Air, because although it has a 32-bits processing unit instead of 64-bits and doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and 6 more cpu cores. Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021) has a little bit better looking display than iPad Air, because it has a better 2048 x 2732 pixels resolution, a really larger display and a little higher pixels density.
