The iPad Pro has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Apple iPad Air's 77.9 global score. Even though the iPad Pro is a lot heavier than the Apple iPad Air, it's just a bit thinner and newer. These devices work with iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad Pro has a newer 9.x version and Apple iPad Air has iOS 8.x.
IPad Air has a display that is very similar to Apple iPad Pro's screen, although the iPad Air has a little less pixels per screen inch, a lot lower 1536 x 2048px resolution and a way smaller display. The Apple iPad Air's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Apple iPad Pro's one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
Apple iPad Air has a little bit better processing power than Apple iPad Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU, a higher number of cores and a 64 bits CPU. The iPad Pro features improved battery duration than iPad Air, because it has 10307mAh of battery capacity.
IPad Pro captures a little bit better videos and photos than iPad Air, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (Full HD) video definition and a F2.4 aperture, the iPad Pro also has a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Although iPad Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Apple iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Apple iPad Air. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad Pro, otherwise you can save some money and get the Apple iPad Air, resigning some features and specifications.
