Google Pixel Slate is much better than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, having a 79.3 score against 62.7. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS operating system, while iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x operating system. The Google Pixel Slate construction is extremely newer, but noticeably heavier and thicker than the iPod Touch 5th Generation.

The iPod Touch 5th Generation has a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a really smaller screen and a lot worse 1136 x 640 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some dollars and get the iPod Touch 5th Generation, letting go some specifications.
