Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 68.4, which is a little bit better than iPod Touch 5th Generation's 62.7 global score. Although it's the best in this review, the Galaxy Note 8.0 design is a lot thicker and way heavier than iPod Touch 5th Generation.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little lower 1136 x 640 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel number per inch of display. The iPod Touch 5th Generation has just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy Note 8.0 has a better performing processing unit than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a larger number of faster cores, a better 1064 megahertz graphics processor and 1,5 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a way better battery life than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.
The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation also has a way better video resolution.
Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also cheaper than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, making it an easy choice.
