Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a newer tablet than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, but it's notably heavier and extremely thicker. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while iPod Touch 5th Generation works with iOS 7.x OS.
