Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a little bit better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, getting a overall score of 64.8 against 62.7. Even being the best tablet we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's construction is older, notably heavier and thicker than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 OS, and Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation works with iOS 7.x OS.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a little better hardware performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has a slower 320 megahertz graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with more RAM. The iPod Touch 5th Generation has a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has a little bit worse 1136 x 640 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display density.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way higher resolution camera in the back and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a really longer battery performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 1030mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPod Touch 5th Generation. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy iPod Touch 5th Generation, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
