Comparison review
IPad Air is much better than iPod touch 6th generation, getting a global score of 77.9 against 65.6. Both of these tablets include iOS OS (operating system), but iPad Air has the newer 8.x version and iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and improved performance. The iPad Air construction is older, way heavier and noticeably thicker than iPod touch 6th generation.
The iPad Air has a bit better looking screen than iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel number in each screen inch, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a way larger display. The iPad Air has a better processor than iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the iPad Air also has a graphics processor and a 64-bit processing unit.
The Apple iPod touch 6th generation takes clearer pictures and videos than iPad Air, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a F2.4 diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Apple iPod touch 6th generation also has a way more megapixels camera in the back.
IPad Air and iPod touch 6th generation have similar storage for applications and games, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad Air counts with a very superior battery life than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has an 8820mAh battery size.
