Comparison review
IPad Air has an overall score of 75.7, which is better than the iPod touch 6th generation's general score of 65.6. These tablets come with iOS OS, but iPad Air has a more recent 8.x version while iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x version. Even being the best we compare here, iPad Air is an older, noticeably thicker and heavier device than iPod touch 6th generation.
The Apple iPad Air features a more powerful CPU than iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPad Air also has a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. The iPad Air counts with a bit better display than iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a much higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a really larger display.
IPod touch 6th generation features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Apple iPad Air, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Apple iPad Air features a much better battery performance than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, because it has a 746% larger battery size. The iPod touch 6th generation shoots clearer photos and videos than Apple iPad Air, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the iPod touch 6th generation also has a back facing camera with much more MP.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the iPad Air is also cheap compared to the Apple iPod touch 6th generation.
