Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has an overall score of 43.3, which is just a bit better than iPod touch's 40 general score. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ design is extremely newer, but extremely heavier and noticeably thicker than iPod touch. Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ works with Android 4.0 operating system, while iPod touch counts with iOS 1.x operating system.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ features a very superior processing unit than iPod touch, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, 2 more CPU cores and an extra graphics processing unit. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has a much sharper display than Apple iPod touch, because it has a way higher resolution of 1280 x 1920 pixels, a much higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a lot bigger screen.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than iPod touch, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB. IPod touch and Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ count with incredibly similar cameras.
