Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire has a global score of 42.5, which is slightly better than the ARCHOS 101 XS's general score of 41.8. Amazon Kindle Fire is a incredibly lighter but noticeably thicker portable tablet than ARCHOS 101 XS. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire has older 2.3 version and ARCHOS 101 XS has Android 4.0.3.

Amazon Kindle Fire counts with a bit better looking display than ARCHOS 101 XS, because although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The ARCHOS 101 XS features a faster processing unit than Amazon Kindle Fire, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the ARCHOS 101 XS also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit.

ARCHOS 101 XS has a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire, because it has more internal storage and a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. Amazon Kindle Fire's battery lifetime is just as good as ARCHOS 101 XS's battery performance. The Amazon Kindle Fire's camera is very similar to the ARCHOS 101 XS one.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Amazon Kindle Fire is also cheaper than the other tablet.
