Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab has a global score of 58.6, which is much better than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt's general score of 45.2. Galaxy Tab's body is lighter but just a bit thicker than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab has the older 2.3.3 version while ARCHOS 80 Cobalt has Android 4.0.

The ARCHOS 80 Cobalt features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1024. ARCHOS 80 Cobalt features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster).

The Galaxy Tab counts with a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab features a superior battery lifetime than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt. Galaxy Tab counts with a much better camera than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt, because it has a back camera with a much better 3 mega-pixels resolution.

Galaxy Tab costs a little more than the ARCHOS 80 Cobalt, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
