The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a bit better than Asus Fonepad 7, getting a 61.4 score against 58.9. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s body is notably heavier but just a little bit thinner than Asus Fonepad 7. The Asus Fonepad 7 has a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a 64-bits CPU, a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, although it has a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a back camera with a lot lower resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 7.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus Fonepad 7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Asus Fonepad 7, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
