The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has an overall score of 60.8, which is a bit better than the Asus Fonepad 8's 55.6 score. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the older 4.2.2 version and Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 construction has the same thickness than the Asus Fonepad 8, but it is just a little bit lighter.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little faster CPU than Asus Fonepad 8, and although they both have 4 processing cores and 2 GB of RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a graphics processing unit.
