Asus VivoTab is slightly better than the Asus Fonepad 8, with a 57.5 score against 55.6. The Asus VivoTab counts with Windows 8 OS, while Asus Fonepad 8 counts with Android 4.4 OS. The Asus VivoTab body is just a little thinner but way heavier than Asus Fonepad 8. The Asus Fonepad 8 counts with just a bit better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit worse 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Asus VivoTab counts with a bit superior processor than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has less 1.8 GHz cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Asus VivoTab also counts with an extra GPU. Asus VivoTab has much more storage to install games and applications than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Asus VivoTab features a slightly better camera than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a much more megapixels back facing camera. The Asus VivoTab features a battery performance that is just as good as the battery performance in Asus Fonepad 8.
Although Asus VivoTab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus Fonepad 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Asus VivoTab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 8, giving up some features and specifications.
