The Google Pixel Slate has a score of 79.3, which is a lot better than the Asus Fonepad 8's 55.6 score. The Google Pixel Slate construction is somewhat thinner but a lot heavier than Asus Fonepad 8. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while Asus Fonepad 8 comes with Android 4.4 OS.
The Google Pixel Slate features a much better looking screen than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen, a lot bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 3000 x 2000. Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Asus Fonepad 8, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
