Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is much better than the Asus Fonepad 8's 55.6 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has 4.1 version and Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Even being the best we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a just a little heavier and thicker tablet than Asus Fonepad 8.

The Asus Fonepad 8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Asus Fonepad 8 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a little bit larger screen, a little bit better pixel density and a better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Asus Fonepad 8, although it has a camera in the back with a way worse resolution. The Asus Fonepad 8 features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus Fonepad 8 also has 16 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a way better battery duration than Asus Fonepad 8.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a little more expensive than Asus Fonepad 8, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
