The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a global score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than Asus Fonepad 8's general score of 55.6. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the older 4.1.2 version while Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Despite being the best device in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's design is a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Asus Fonepad 8.

The Asus Fonepad 8 features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 1 GB more RAM and more processing cores. Asus Fonepad 8 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a little bit greater screen pixels density, a better resolution of 1280 x 800px and a little bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus Fonepad 8, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a much better battery duration than Asus Fonepad 8.

Asus Fonepad 8 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a way better resolution camera in the back.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus Fonepad 8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
