Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than the Asus Fonepad Note 6, with a score of 66.2 against 58.7. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is noticeably thinner but much heavier than the Asus Fonepad Note 6. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Asus Fonepad Note 6 has Android 4.4.
The Asus Fonepad Note 6 has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Asus Fonepad Note 6 and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 have extremely similar memory to install applications and games, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB and equal internal storage capacity.
Asus Fonepad Note 6 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor and lesser cores (although faster), it also counts with 512 MB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a camera that's just as good as the Asus Fonepad Note 6 one, although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a way lower 1280x720 video definition and a back-facing camera with a much worse resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a really longer battery life than Asus Fonepad Note 6.
