HTC Flyer is a little bit better than the Asus Fonepad, getting a general score of 58.7 against 53.9. Both tablets we are comparing have Android operating system, but the HTC Flyer has the previous 3.2 version while Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, the HTC Flyer construction is older, somewhat heavier and a lot thicker than Asus Fonepad.
The HTC Flyer has a bit more powerful processor than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the HTC Flyer also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Asus Fonepad has a little more vivid display than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus Fonepad also has a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 and a better number of pixels per inch of screen.
The HTC Flyer has much more storage for apps and games than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 32 GB, the HTC Flyer also has more internal storage. The Asus Fonepad counts with a little better battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
The HTC Flyer shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Asus Fonepad, because it has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 MP resolution.
HTC Flyer costs a little more money than Asus Fonepad, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
