Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has an overall score of 60.4, which is better than Asus Fonepad's general score of 53.9. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has 3.2 version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition body is thinner than Asus Fonepad, but it's heavier and was released about a year before.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a little more vivid screen than Asus Fonepad, because although it has a quite lower pixel density, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a larger display. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a little faster processing unit than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has a larger number of 1.2 gigahertz cores and an extra graphics processing unit.
