The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot better than the Asus Fonepad, having a 69.2 score against 53.9. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Note 8.0's design is a little lighter and way thinner than the Asus Fonepad, even when both of them were released only 0 months apart.
Asus Fonepad counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Asus Fonepad also counts with a little higher screen density. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much better performing processor than Asus Fonepad, because it has a GPU, a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots way better pictures and videos than Asus Fonepad, because it has a camera in the back with lot more MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little better battery life than Asus Fonepad, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little more expensive than Asus Fonepad, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
