Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Asus Fonepad's 53.9 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is an older and notably heavier tablet device than Asus Fonepad, but Samsung could make it somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has 3.0 version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a little more vivid screen than Asus Fonepad, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bigger screen. Asus Fonepad features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, although it has a lower number of cores.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a camera that's just as good as Asus Fonepad's camera, both have a back facing camera with a 3 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Fonepad, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a much better battery performance than Asus Fonepad, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 costs a little more than Asus Fonepad, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
