Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is slightly better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a overall score of 61.7 against 60.1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has 4.1 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Although it's the best tablet device in our current comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is an older, a lot thicker and heavier tablet device than the Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, a bit larger display and a way higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features just a bit better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a lot lower 3.2 mega pixels resolution back camera and a lower (HD) video quality.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a much longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE and the Asus MeMO Pad 8 cost the same, making buying this tablet a simple decision.
