The iPad Air is much better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a score of 72.8 against 53.4. IPad Air's construction is newer, incredibly thinner and extremely lighter than the Asus Transformer Pad 300. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Asus Transformer Pad 300 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system.

Apple iPad Air counts with a lot better looking screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features much more memory to store more games and applications than iPad Air, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB.

IPad Air has a greater processing power than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has lesser CPU cores (although faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the iPad Air also counts with a better graphics co-processor running at 600 MHz and a 64 bits processing unit. IPad Air has a superior camera than Asus Transformer Pad 300, although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera, a lower (Full HD) video resolution and a tinier aperture.

Apple iPad Air has a much better battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, iPad Air is also cheaper than the Asus Transformer Pad 300.
