Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a general score of 62.7, which is much better than Asus Transformer Pad 300's score of 54.5. Even though the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation and Asus Transformer Pad 300 were released only a few months apart, the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation is thinner and way lighter. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x operating system, and Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 operating system.

Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a much sharper screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1136 x 640 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a way better number of pixels per inch of screen. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a bit superior CPU than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a better 416 MHz graphics processor, a larger number of faster cores and 512 MB more RAM.

The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation captures much better pictures and videos than Asus Transformer Pad 300, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images in low-light situations, a worse 1920x1080 video quality and a way less megapixels back camera.
