Google Nexus 7 has an overall score of 59.3, which is slightly better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300's overall score of 54.5. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 has a newer 5.1 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Google Nexus 7 body is a lot lighter but just a little thicker than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, and they were only released with a couple months difference.

Google Nexus 7 features just a bit better performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both of them have a 1 GB RAM memory, a 416 megahertz graphics processor and 4 cores.
