Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has an overall score of 60.4, which is better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300's general score of 54.5. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is a somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter tablet than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, even though both were released only 4 months apart. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has older 3.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 has just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 also has 2 more 1.2 gigahertz processing cores and a much better graphics processor working at 416 megahertz.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a more vivid display than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
