Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Asus Transformer Pad 300, having a general score of 69.2 against 54.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 construction is newer, notably lighter and noticeably thinner than Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2, giving some additional features.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little better hardware performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a faster graphics co-processor working at 1.06 gigahertz and more RAM memory. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit sharper screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a better screen density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's camera is just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, although the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a lot worse 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a way better battery life than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also a bargain compared to others, making it an easy decision.
