Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is much better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, with a 61.4 score against 54.5. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and Asus Transformer Pad 300 were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a way better battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 captures slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much better video quality and a way more mega-pixels back camera.
Even being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a no doubt choice.
