Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a bit better than Asus Transformer Pad 300, having a 58.1 score against 54.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is an older tablet than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, but it is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter anyway. Both tablets in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the previous 3.0 version and Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an additional graphics processor and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has just a bit better display than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bit greater display density.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 takes greater photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much higher video definition and a way higher resolution back facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
