The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a bit better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a general score of 58.8 against 54.5. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a thinner and a lot lighter tablet than Asus Transformer Pad 300, even though both were released only a few months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a very superior battery duration than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a much higher video definition.
