Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a bit better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a general score of 58.8 against 54.5. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the previous 4.0 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a thinner and a lot lighter tablet than Asus Transformer Pad 300, even though both were released only a few months apart.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a little bit better looking screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more CPU cores and a graphics co-processor.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a very superior battery duration than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a much higher video definition.
