The Galaxy Tab is just a bit better than Asus Transformer Pad 300, having a global score of 58.6 against 54.5. The Galaxy Tab is an older and thicker tablet device than Asus Transformer Pad 300, but Samsung was able to build it incredibly lighter anyway. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab has older 2.3.3 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster), an additional graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab count with very similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab. Both have equal 32 GB internal storage. Asus Transformer Pad 300 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a way higher video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a much better battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab is also by far the cheapest one.
