Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an overall score of 75.2, which is a lot better than Asus Transformer Pad 300's general score of 54.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 body is newer, extremely thinner and lighter than the Asus Transformer Pad 300. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it counts with some additional features and some performance improvements.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much more vibrant screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher number of pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600px. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a better processor than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 450 MHz and a larger amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
