Comparison review
IPad 3 is way better than Asus Transformer Prime, with a 67.7 score against 54.8. IPad 3 comes with iOS 7.x operating system, and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 operating system. Even though the iPad 3 and Asus Transformer Prime were only released 4 months apart, the iPad 3 construction is just a little thinner but also somewhat heavier than Asus Transformer Prime.
Asus Transformer Prime features a bit better hardware performance than iPad 3, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 2 more CPU cores. IPad 3 counts with a much sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixel amount per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048.
The iPad 3 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video definition and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, they both have a same size aperture. The iPad 3 has just a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.
Apple iPad 3 counts with a much longer battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the iPad 3 is also cheaper than the Asus Transformer Prime, making it a very good choice.
